Synergy™ Neo is an HTS multi-mode microplate reader designed specifically for today's screening and core laboratories. Synergy H4 Hybrid Multi-mode Microplate Reader
Synergy™ H4 with Hybrid Technology™ is a patented multi-mode detector that combines the optical systems of Synergy Mx and Synergy 2 in one compact instrument. It is the ideal instrument for research and drug discovery applications when having to choose between flexibility and performance is not an option. The monochromator-based optics provides a high level of flexibility; any wavelength can be used from the low UV to the near infrared.
The quadruple grating optical system, equipped with a variable bandpass selection system, is ideal for spectral scanning applications. The filter-based optics use dichroic mirrors for enhanced performance. This system is faster and more sensitive than the monochromator optics. A dual reagent dispenser option is available for inject and read assays such as flash luminescent assays and fluorescent ion channel assays. Additional read modes include: fluorescence polarization, time resolved fluorescence and AlphaScreen/AlphaLISA.
Synergy H1 Hybrid Multi-mode Microplate Reader
Synergy™ H1 is a flexible monochromator-based multi-mode microplate reader that can be turned into a high-performance patented Hybrid system with the addition of a filter-based optical module. The monochromator optics uses a third generation quadruple grating design that allows working at any excitation or emission wavelength with a 1 nm step. This system supports top and bottom fluorescence intensity, UV-visible absorbance and high performance luminescence detection. It is the ideal system for all the standard microplate applications found in life science research laboratories.The filter module is a completely independent add-on that includes its own light source, and a high performance dichroic-based wavelength selection system.
With its very high optical efficiency, this module supports advanced detection modes such as Fluorescence Polarization, Time-Resolved Fluorescence & TR-FRET and filtered luminescence (e.g. BRET). A dual reagent injection system is available to automate inject/read assays such as ion channels assays or flash luminescence assays (e.g. luciferase or ATP assays).To create the ideal physiological environment for live-cell assays, the new Gas Controller for Synergy H1 allows control and monitoring of CO2 and O2 levels within the Synergy H1. Synergy Mx Multi-mode Microplate Reader

The Synergy 2 is BioTek's high-performance multi-mode plate reader designed for the life science research and drug discovery markets. Its fluorescence detection system uses deep blocking filters and dichroic mirrors for the best level of performance in research and screening applications.
The dedicated absorbance detection system is monochromator-based, providing the best level of flexibility in this read mode. And, by utilizing dedicated optical elements for each individual detection technique, Synergy 2 offers uncompromised performance and the lowest limits of detection.

Synergy HT Multi-mode Microplate Reader
BioTek's Synergy™ HT Multi-Mode Microplate Reader for fluorescence, absorbance and luminescence measurements was designed with an emphasis on superior performance in all detection methods. Unlike many multi-mode microplate readers, the Synergy HT utilizes a unique dual-optics design.When making fluorescence determinations, the Synergy HT uses a tungsten halogen lamp with interference filters for wavelength specificity in conjunction with a PMT detector.
The tungsten halogen lamp produces a large amount of light at a constant intensity, providing increased sensitivity and repeatability. Specially designed fluorescent interference filters prevent light leakage from excitation wavelength to the emission wavelength, particularly important with fluorescent compounds with small Stoke's shifts.
In addition, the ability to use filters with different bandpasses allows the investigator to tailor their fluorescence measurements to their experiment more effectively.The low noise PMT is operated in digital photon integration mode for high performance luminescence measurements.

Synergy™ HTX Multi-Mode Microplate Reader is a compact, affordable system for 6- to 384-well microplates and Take3 Micro-Volume Plates. Absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence and AlphaScreen®/ AlphaLISA® measurements are all made using a unique dual-optics design that provides superior performance.
The absorbance detection optics uses a xenon flash lamp and monochromator for filter-free wavelength selection from 200 to 999 nm in 1 nm increments. Fluorescence determinations are made using a tungsten halogen lamp with interference filters in conjunction with a PMT detector for maximum sensitivity. Synergy HTX also features BioTek’s unique 4-Zone™ incubation to 50 ºC, dual reagent injector, plus linear and orbital shaking to meet a wide variety of assay requirements.
